Crazy Stories

I've been thinking of things of to type about considering I am still working in the Greenville office. I am becoming impatient with the situation and right now it is in the hands of the government. I think that means I'll be hanging out for awhile. I've been able to get to know my fellow co-workers more and more each day. They're your sterotypical mid-western workers. These gents are very genuine, crude, and funny with their country accents. At the hotel we had a "free appetizers and drinks" in the lobby. Miller Lite, good call Crowne Plaza. One of the men I sat with has a dirty handle bar mustache (I'm jealous) and began telling us how he was once married. He was young and dumb and went for months being drunk. Somehow he got married and didnt even know it. In one of his sober moments, he came home and found a lady in his bed. He yelled at her "to get the "blank" out of here" she was not happy with this and said "you can not talk to me like this, we're married!" Ut oh, he must of thought, what have I done. So, he did what every self respecting 20 year old would do...He got her wasted off bottles of tequila one night and told her to sign on this line so HE COULD BUY HER A NEW CAR. Needless to say he was divorced the next day. Wow. Genious. I felt myself wanting a story as ridiculous yet witty as this but without these circumstances.

Spending time with all these guys is great. While being in Greenville away my friends and family I realize why God gave Adam, Eve. He didnt give Adam, John. He gave Adam a woman. There is only so much you can get out of a bromance, no offense dude friends. In other words, I miss my wife, obvi, and appreciate her more than ever. In my depressing realization of how lucky I am to have someone, I needed some comfort food. Food is usually not my 1st choice to turn to. I did. I walked a mile in 20 degree weather to my life saver. The local CHIPOTLE restaurant.

Ice storm.

I will be here for a couple weeks until they finish my security clearance. Until then I'm trying to enjoy myself and take-in Greenville, South Carolina (no car remember).
